umm....

Oakie is good no doubt. He's an innovator and used to play great sets. But now he is commercially driven, plays same short set everywhere, in love with himself, just in it for the money.

Paul van Dyk is leagues better than Oakenfold. There should be no comparison. None, He's in love with the music and plays the best long inspiring sets that cause millions of people to have religious experiences to his music. Through it all he stays humble and is one of the best producers/remixers in the industry.

as Push said....PvD is GoD.....hands down.

In my opinion is oakenfold the best dj in the world. With his smooth mixing and his good trackselection. Just look at some essential mixes from 1999. Progressive as hell! PvD is also good, but i prefer oakenfold.

He has also played every where and remixed everything as the radio guy on JJJ mixup said it.

All time live mixes from Paul Oakenfold:
Essential Mix From Home, London (31-10-1999)
Essential Mix From Home, Space In Ibiza (25-07-1999)
Essential Mix From Homelands 1999 (with Pete Tong)

ALL THIS MIXES ROXXX!!!

allover is pvd and oakie 10 steps ahead the other dj's like marco v etc.

Actually i heard Oakenfolds recent sets and saw him a few months live...i didnt think his mixing was so smooth......compared to PVD mixing he doesnt even come close to Smoothness of PVD mixing....... but Oakenfolds style is unique when it comes to track selection ...... like i said PVD all the way
