Okay, the cheese tracks that many of you call here, were the NOT cheese back then, and given credits to the producers when it came out, I mean, look at the older Gatecrasher CD's, GC was , and is still not cheese, they got what... ATB - 9pm, Liquid Child tracks and so on... people looved them, they were once underground, then they hit MAINSTREAM and people not into the scene hears them, and well, they like it, the tune went through the clubs, it was time to retire it from the underground for such success, and for that, it has to move on..... Darude - sandstorm , this track was the TOP tune for many of the TOP dj's, PvD played it, and still plays it, it all depends on what part of the set he places it, you maybe at an underground club, and the set is perfect, but something is missing, sandstorm, at the right moment it can cause total chaos ! this tune was sooo successfull that my school played it almost everyday, and you would see black peeps dancing to it.. I didnt mind though.
Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation, EVERYONE loved it, it was on Paul Oakenfolds # 1 spot when it was still down there, underground DJ's would play Lock & load, and that tune HAnds up in the air was a hit on last years summer sound system, they are were, and they werent call cheese until it hit mainstream..
I still love alice deejay - better off alone, darude sandstorm , castles in the sky, I try no to listen to them often.. once in a wiled, thats so I dont get annoyned by it..
you guys wanna know whats cheese ?!?!
AMBER ! .. the vocals is what makes it cheese if there's such definition on the DANCE music dictionary.
Just call it, Eurodance or Hi-nrg

Space Brothers "Shine" aint cheese and isn't labelled as cheese. It is pretty simple and it lacks any kind of buildups, but unlike your typical cheese the melody was beautiful and it actually has meaningful lyrics and wonderful vocals which add to it. And that was back in April 1997 and it never crossed over to the mainstream so it remains a classic. And cheese doesn't give you any emotion, that is a very emotional track!
That probably didn't make a whole lot of sense, but that's how I look at it anyway!

My cousin left Vengaboys "The Party Album" at my house claiming there was good trance on it, I tried my hardest to listen to the thing and in my opinion it was all crap. I did not see one decent "trance" track on it and some even had male vocals, it was dreadful!
