I remember on my 286 when i had fucking QUICK MENU!! Yeah, before fucking windows! muhahahahahhaah

But then we got Windows 3.1 installed and I could play cool Windows games, yeah what what.

I actually have an old AST 486 in my closet with Windows 3.1 on it....maybe I should drag it out

Windows NT 3.51:

Finally got around to taking some screens of this old but pretty nice (IMO) OS.

The desktop:

Program Manager:
Apart from different icons and the Admin/User title at the top of the Program Manager, nothing is much different from Windows 3.1x visually.

As this screenshot clearly illustrates, Windows NT 3.51 will run most modern 32 bit programs, at least those designed for Windows NT 4.0:

Mozilla works perfectly, and here it is with the "Internet Explorer" skin:

The control panel has this neat litle program. Was this ever built into any later Windows?

This Virtual PC thing seems fun as hell. Is it commercial or are there old shareware versions as well?

LOL, 20MB HD with Win 3.11?

That would be barely enough to install Windows and do anything on it.

My Windows 3.11 machine had one 800 MB HD, and a second 320 MB one.

Can't actually remember . A google search and some editing and resizing made them.

Anyway, I'll finish with some Windows 95 screenshots:
