Howells is definately better than Deep Dish, but its hard to compare the two actually... Deep Dish play house and shouldn't be compared to progressive house djs... for the record, I saw Deep Dish 3 times so far, and all three times they bored me to death, and I've given up on them when it comes to live performances (although pretty much all their productions are quality)...

Howells vs. Deep Dish... all over again...

people, to each his own... some of you like one, some of you like the others, I love them all, as long as they play a kick-ass set!

I can remember seeing Danny Howells once and he bored me to death, but then the next time he just rocked the house... same with Deep Dish, they can get boring at times, but they also know how to blow up the roof.

And yes, Deep Dish did get commercial, but you wouldn't if you had the same chance? Right, right... When people say in this case "oh, well he's going too commercial", that's just bullshit! What are they supposed to do, stay underground when they had a chance to make it BIG and get their names out there and increase their ca$$$h flow? Come on, get real.

Dude when I say commercial I mean the bull-shit they are producing right now. I don't give a shit if they want to be sponsored or what, but when you start making songs with P-diddy and friends (That are horrible by the way) that is what I call selling out. My opnion has nothing to do with increasing the cash flow as I am sure they do allright as it is..... this is coming from an ex-loyal fan who see's where they are going. Yes I am being selfish in wanting them to stay underground and spin records that I don't hear every other night in the clubs... sorry.

Look at this shit
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/media/g...2003/pdiddy.ram
P-Diddy in Ibiza as an MC making an ass of himself. Thanks Deep Dish.

Again this is my opinion and to each their own as stated above.

I respect your opinion, and that situation with Puffy (I can't call him P.Diddy, no matter what) is just ridiculous... even though I think he's got a pretty good reason (maybe even some love for this type of music and people) to be involved with Deep Dish, Darren Emerson, Richard X, etc, cuz it's not very likely that he's in it for the money (he's got more than enough of it from his record label and clothing line) or some recognition. Whatever it is...

Anyway, I really don't like Deep Dish productions since you can feel their house music roots in most of their songs, but they sure did come up with some sick shit! And regarding the "popular" songs they play in clubs, well, I am still having trouble identifying more than 75% of their sets. I guess you get a lot of unreleased and unsigned promos when you have a huge and successfull label of your own.

They played "Tatu - Not Gonna Get Us" when they were in TO last... But since I'm not too knowledgable on this subject I'll end my input there..
