Im working towards a BSc. in microbiology or biochemistry but i dont know which is better (more money).

Yeah I have a job that is in the business I studied to be in..but not in the position I would like to be in. But I was unemployed for the better part of a year before I found steady work of any sort.
It is also technically a temp job. No benefits/vacation/sick time which kinda sucks.

As to a better job being one that pays better....take it from me, the higher paying jobs are not always the better job. The last place I worked at I made better money but they treated the employees like shit and my stress level was super high. My stress level went way down about 3 days after I got the axe.

i have a UNIVERSITY degree in molecular biology - genetics. the country i come from (lithuania and basically all EU, excluding GB) do not recognise COLLEGE as the high edu form, so if we want a degree, college is not enough, Uni is needed...

In the USA "college" is where you can earn a 4 year degree. The only main difference between a "college," and "university" is that the Uni does research. Then there are art/fashion/photography colleges etc.
