i just wanna reiterate what i was saying.....
to any and all who think pvd is overrated, doubts pvd as a dj, (or even as a producer- half his shit is exclusive, and really you have to see HIM to hear the shit played out):
either you have not seen him live, you saw him live some unlikely night that he was not feelin the vibe, or the set was just too short to know what he is all about.
why do i say this? because i have been an electronic music lover since 1996. right now, i am probably just as big a "pvd whore" as any TAs on this board.... why? why is it that i dont care half as much for all the djs i used to be all about?
because i saw him in Twilo for the first time 4 years ago and he rocked my world for six hours. i knew who i was going to see, i though i knew all about him.... i did not. he blew my mind. i was in complete awe and disbelief of everything i heard and felt that night. since then, this has only been a recurring thing, from all the pvd stocking. he has a gift. it cannot be put into words, but it can be experienced. give him a try, do not doubt, and do not hate those that do love him- there really is a reason for this love, a damn good one.
GO PvD.
(im gonna shutup now....too many speeches for one day
