coupling i forgot that, that was ace.

What was the name of the show on ch2 that had Ben Chaplin and Samantha Janus in?

I dont mind alot of american comedy though, Scrubs, Frasier, Will and Grace and generally Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler movies.

Although whenever they take a British idea and try and make an american copy it wont work, their comedy is more about timing and the rite word or look, rather than our undercurrents of irony and black.

Game on. That was mildly amusing when the original guy was in it. But the newer guy they had was a total twat.

Yeah but he wasn’t as funny as he became by the first series of 'I'm Alan Partridge'

A funny story that I read once. Michael Grade who I think was then boss at channel 4 had though in 1996 that brass eye was to controversial, so he kept putting it back and not showing it.

During this time Chris Morris decided to write to Nelson Mandela to tell him that Michael Grade had lead a campaign to keep him in prison .

I beleive he also had added a subliminal message saying 'GRADE IS A ****' flash up on screen, and it was shown on TV like that .

Another time he apparently filled a radio studio with helium while a colleague was doing a broadcast
