prog trance sounds more laidback usually around 127 - 132 bpm. it doesnt have any formulaic structure to it like 2 boring breaksdowns like the cheesiefied euro trance has. its more sophisticated in sounds and it can be way more uplifting than the whole uplifting trance genre which = basically all cheese now. actually if you're listening to prog now u can hear so clearly that trance elements r all over prog tunes now. some of the melodies those producers make r absolutely fucking gorgous. especially in progressive breaks. the sounds in it remind of how early trance used to be. so beautifull, and full of interesting new sounds. i think trance is finding itself in different forms now like breaks.and anyone who says prog is boring should have their zit face muzzled and shoved into a shredding machine cuz they truly dont know what the fuck they're saying
