This could be a good situation. If they follow through with their suit, the media will likely have a field day about how the RIAA bankrupted a single mom and her 12 year old honor student. If they DONT go through with it, everyone else will say "so what so special about her then? Why should my suit apply either?"
Actually, what I think would be best is if they follow through and her mom fights it to death in the courts. Who do you think a jury will side with, a multi million (billion?) dollar industry after thousands of dollars from a single mom, or the mom and her honor roll student? Lets not forget that the RIAA convinently circumvents ALL legal process in its subpoenas. All it would take is ONE person to fight, and win. The rest of the dominos would fall too.
