I have a strong point in making melodies so I try to start there with the Break. I build the song around that since you can set your key signature and bassline then bring in the drums & percussion. This also helps with setting levels when building the rest of the song.

I got a breakbeat I dreamt about last night... but unfortunately, like always, I forgot too much of it before I got to the tweaking phase.
