I very much like Ferry's new style of production. I think it's the sort of innovation that trance requires to evolve and survive as a genre.
Dance Valley Theme 2001 was excellent. Punk was good. Indigo was, in my opinion, absolutely fantastic. The original of Rock Your Body Rock is merely decent, and the F Massif Remix is, thankfully, its saving grace. Had the quality of those two been reversed I would dare to call Ferry's recent production run unprecedented.
Right of Way is easily on par with Indigo, confirming Ferry's reliable skills.
For those that don't like his new style of work, go listen to some uplifting or something. The rest of trance has places to go.
...
Oops, that didn't come off as bitter, did it?
