Yea, thats true, and i AM going to stick to it. I mean, i asked the teacher that usually is in charge of the student council and stuff like that if there were plans to hire a DJ ever again. She said no, and asked why, and if i was planning to do it. And she even asked my price . You know, i allways thought of DJing to be a hobby in which you can just give people the music without having them to pay you for it. I dont see why people usually expect to get paid for DJing. If your doing it for just money, then you dont have what it takes to be a DJ. If you charge money to help keep some spare change in your pocket, then its completely understandable. |
You need to understand something. You can love something, and have it be your profession too. You can't be a free dj, unless you have lots and lots of disposable income. You need to pay for equipment, VINYL (a constand money 'pit' )... etc..
Gifted with computers? Since computers are artificial, I don't think you can be directly gifted with computers. Its more a combination of other things. You can be gifted with art, or athletics, but computers.. no.
Being 'good' with computers takes two things :
1. Knowing where shit is (knowledge), and
2. Knowing where shit will be.. (intuition)
