Hmm well maybe he's playing at the same party - his name's Todd Richmann, him and Erik Rumors are both playing there.

What's the matter? Can't pick them up on your own?

Standing at the door telling people that an established gay bar has "turned straight" for a night is not going to stop anybody who wants to see Tiësto, especially considering how rarely he tours that much in the US.

well it is not about being homophobic. it is just one straight normal person would rather be at a club with hot chicks than a whole bunch of guys that keep starring at you because you are that finger licking good. honestly sometimes i worry that i am so good looking that i might turn straight guys gay. lol
well i actually didn't go to that party for that reason. some of the guys told me after wards of what they had to do and how it worked out. it is supposed to be two floors and quite spacious. maybe that night we can pull that trick as well.

ps. i am not homophobic and to each his own but the way i see it you need a male and a female to reproduce and that should tell you something, wheter you are religious or not.

Hi, this is reality, have you visited lately? I know of no gay men who are actually scared of women, or whom are prone to avoid bars where they might be. The very idea that the gay people in question weren't coming into the club because there were more women than usual is ludicrous...

Did you ever stop to consider that the reason some of them were declining to visit was the fellow out front trying to make it clear that they weren't welcome?

If the bartenders are drag queens how do you get around that?

It will be too crowded anyways. Who cares if there's gay people there.

Exclamation Tiesto in Houston

Perhaps the vast demographics of the Trance Addict forums are populated by 15 year olds, or maybe they just have their heads so far up their collective asses they fail to realize the importance of the situation. TIESTO (THE #1 DJ in the world) is gonna be in Texas, and all they can think about is the fact that he will be appearing at a venue that proclaims itself to be a primarily gay club. OH MY GOD! NOOO! Not a gay club! What ever shall we do? We cannot possibly enjoy a show from a world class DJ in a place where there might be Gays!!!Nevermind that we have an independant talent coordinator to thank, not some corporation or "Event Crew" like the BS in the past. ONE person, in conjunction with the neccesary funding and backing, is bringing the best damned DJ in the fucking world to Houston, and all you small minded people can think of is "it's a gay club!"?!?
One wonders how many of you have ever even BEEN to Houston, let alone stepped foot inside Rich's...Hm? In fact, Rich's is one of Houston's OLDEST dance clubs, and has had more talent showcased behind it's doors than most any other three clubs in Texas...
A little research goes a long way, and besides looking up the website (that took some time didn't it?) try hitting a little closer to home...
Here's a link some of you might find helpful for understanding Houston's EDM Culture a little better.
http://www.clubhyperia.com/yabbse/index.php

We live in an era that forces us to accept people the way they are, without reservation, without resignation, and without condemnation...Gay, Straight, black white, jew, gentile...what does it matter? We are all human, and we all love the music.
