and that monika kruse - wavez argument, i stand by my original post, mauro plays his version off cdr, and richie hawtin uses the sampler. A friend let me hear a rare hawtin set from pressure 2000/01 and they are different.
where mauro holds the tone in his version at one note the whole way, hawtins version is all up and down at the breakdown....
