My friend was chattin to Jon O'Bir over at johns site few months back and asked jon what it would take to get him to play over here in canada. He said a plane ticket and accomidations.
While at AVB two months ago I asked Armin's girlfriend how much he gets paid to play a show like the one I was at. She said they dont know. Its really up to the promoter to decide and Armin just gets a check at the end of the month for his work. I imagine it is on a sliding scale and can very from country to country as his management changes.

thats funny/interesting as armin came to ann arbor and the general admission was 30/40 depending on 21+ yet no one showed up. im sure that he had a good meal, as the DCS took pics and ann arbor aint no shithole...yet he didnt pack the place. that concerns me as he was generally a cool guy to meet. i just think that the Borders CD people made more money off 76 that anyone else in the picture.

also explains why Soma was Nick Warrens fav club in NAmer. Great accomodations, etc...damn|

@ The Syndicate in Blackpool,UK, Sasha was scheduled to play for a fee of £8000. Door price was £15 and the club holds about 4500 people. When Ferry came on the Tsunami tour with Adam Sheridan it was a standard Saturday night fee of £10, don't know how much he got though.

Therefore as far as I can tell, Sasha is a money grabbing bastard while Ferry is in it 4 the music.

You've also got to understand how much the DJ is in demand. The reason Sasha charged more then Ferry Corsten for that night is probably because he sacrificed another night, which he would probably get more momney for, to play there. he probably chose to play Blackpool instead because he doesn't play in the UK that often but still tries to make the effort to play here.
