lame is obviously the best

xing mp3 encoder throws out all frequencys above 16khz... real bad

The best combination is using "exact Audio Copy" EAC in secure mode, couple that with the --r3mix preset in Lame 3.89+.
JUST USE THE PRESET --r3mix!!!!!!!!!!!!!
