I have 3 very large black tribal tattoos located on both arms and left pectoral.

Generally speaking, I sometimes get that tattoo stereotype of being that "mischievous" kid...especially when I wear stuff like a black tank top, a backwards hat while smoking a fat cigar . But when I talk to people who think that way, their view of me usually does a 180. People expect guys wit tattoos to be unarticulated and not well informed and try my best to be as contrary of that as I can be. And if I don't change their perception of me, FUCK'EM!

But honestly I could care less what the hell people think of me or about my lifestyle. I visibly like people with tattoos, it shows character.

My freinds wife(she's 21) has a totally awsome tatoo of a dragon that covers most of her back. Its awsome.

I don't have any, but I would agree that there is discrimination against people who do have tatoos. I think they look ugly anyhow, most people seem to get them because they're 'cool' instead of choosing one that has a personal meaning.

I do try not to discriminate against people who do have them, but sub-couciously I do think that I unjustly judge people who have them now and then.

I cannot say if i would partake in discrimination or not. I would like to think that i am not part of the desciminatory field. However, e.g. in a work place; if i was a manger looking to employ a new receptionist i fear that i would be less likely to employ a person with visible tattoos as they did not have the right appearance to project the companies ethics, ideas etc as the forefront person of the company client relationship. Regarless of an individuals personality and skill, appearance is a very important message, yes we have the freedom to express how we wish, but others retain the right to interpret these looks. We are conditioned by society to have certain connotations towards such appendages, whether this be through ignorance or fact, are mostly negative.

i have no prob with tattoos, although i think a lot of thought should be put into deciding where & what u want.

my sis got one on her back, then i think she went into a wee phase and decided she wanted another, so she got this rediculous lookin thing on her arm (right beside her wrist).

now, in less than a year, she's lookin to get dif of the hideous thing on her arm.

tattoos are sexy. well, if they're good quality & u've got decent skin.

i saw this gal once who had freckly skin, and these shitty lookin tattoos which looked like they'd been drawn on by a 5 year old with a big fat marker

Sara's tattoos are nice though
