Its not that I feel bad about not having a girlfriend. Im just kinda sad that both the ineffable "her" and myself are missin out on some good times hehe. Ah well, im not going to settle, or be miserable, and happiness is an elusive prize. I dont think it should be easy to get, but also...darn society for letting us get a discerning mind by the time we are of marriagable age. Wouldnt it be easier if we were all 13 again?
Too many people get into relationships because they feel pressured into feeling like they "should" be with someone. Or they arent doing anything else so might as well. Im all for friends with benefits, but too much responsibility for the other persons happiness gets laid on you when you decide to go steady if you dont truly love the person.
You can love them on a deep friendship level and a "i want you to be pleased" level, but living together love is a whole nu' thang.
Thats my semi deep thought, can be summond up as a "Nothing less than happiness" kind of motto.
Also I just kinda grabbed her forehead and pumped the back of her skull, no penetration hehe. It was like a dog hump. Hahaha, ohh man, I laughed so hard, it woulda been worth it even if she didnt stop crying.

Basically, from having had every kind of depression from chemical to SAD to realizing WTF I HAVENT HAD A GF IN 20 YEARS!
Then I think about it and I can either think of how that makes me a loser, or justify it (no girls are awesome enough to bask in my greatness, rain means i can drink more, mmm pills are yummy!)
Basically, you gotta make the decision before you get depressed of what youre gonna do when you get depressed. I say im gonna work out no matter what, im gonna run no matter what, im gonna smile and hug my mom no matter what. I will do the best job i can at work, NO MATTER WHAT. After you realize that no single area can be affected by your depression, you combine all of those, and even though you dont get the seratonin happy feeling, you can still get just as drunk, high, adrenaline/endorphined rush as anything.
Basically, "Get over yourself" was the toughest lesson I ever learned, and its the most important.

ahh maria
yeah it sounds like you are getting a little bout of depression, i wouldnt suggest going to go see a doctor right away (altho dr. montie would be happy to treat you ).
i think almost everyone suffers from feelings such as these. everyone in there own way is scared of being alone. or feels alone in some way.
yeah everyone has their friends and their families. But most of those friends are just superficial. And many people don't get along too well with their families.
I sorta went thru similar feelings and a depression a few years ago. After a long series of events and realizations, i came to really "know my self" (or come to a better sense of self contentness) and my eyes opened up and really saw the relationships in my life that really matterd.
now that im away at university, i do have little bouts where i feel prtety lonely. i miss my family who are back home and i miss my best friend who's at another university. I have lots of friends here, but i haven't really found anyone i would consider a really true "friend."
I keep myself pretty busy tho, and i go out and have my share of fun. So it keeps my mind of things, but thats just an aversion of those feelings of lonleyness.
What i find that works best tho is to do those things that you love that bring yourself personal fulfillment.
sorry i sorta rambled a bit here.

aye it was only now that I felt what it was like to be mentally ill. I mean you get a cold and suddenly cant imagine a life with a freely breathing nose, right? You think back in nostalgia, appreciate a properly functioning nose, the way you can breath air to the fullest and not even think abut it.
Now that's the very low level and most people have colds sooften that they even stop thinking about it.
When it's your mind, though, which is as I learned the biggest enemy out there (simultaenously your best friend , too), realizing the aforementioned things freaks you out. You see that even the most obvious thing, a normally woking mind, the way you fit into reality, the way you perceive it..even that is not granted. And once you're there you are actually in a parallel reality. You're disconnected, you can't look through the window of your own consciousness anymore, you're locked in your misery. Worst thing is that you know its all YOUR creation, your illusion, but you cant end the film...here starts the fight, unless you already gave up. It's tough but you'll come out as a stronger person, or so I believe.
