The requirements for the USMC are a bit different you have to do a at least 3 pull ups at least 50 crunches in 2 min i can polish off 80 in a min but i have to build my endurance so i can last for 2 min and do alot more and run 1½ miles under 13 min 30 sec we dont have to do test on push ups but you should really practice them cause thats all you do well for me at least and they say that pull up bar becomes your friend in boot the best i did that mile n a half is 12 min i really got to start running more this sux im so lazy

HOLLY COW! I have to be able to do 2.4 KM in UNDER 11 min 56 sec! Your army is so much easier I guess, LOL.
I usually do 2.4 km in 12 min 30 sec, and never got under the 12 min mark. Thats a brutal requirement ....

Chin-ups are same as pull-ups, I believe ...

Mr. Poopyhead, I know that, but I dont think I can handle the school at the moment, as I am a slacker and barely got my diploma as I badly slacked off in the last year of my high school ...., and my parents are kicking me out in January, so I was literally FORCED to sign the contract. So I'll do regular forces army for 3 years, then come out and see what's available ....

I was a Sgt. in the US Army Infantry. I enlisted to pay for college. Honestly, I had both some of the best and worst times of my life there. All the BS the recruiters feed you about "skills for life" is amusing. After six years, I left the Army qualified to shine shoes, clean stuff and kill people. Good thing I went to college. Otherwise, my only career options whould have been as a homicidal shoeshine boy or a homicidal janitor.

What happened to ww3? i miss something

I can run 2.4KM in about 3 minutes at best, but that is rare coz i prefere to do long distance running rather than quick and fast.

Good look on joining, keep pushing yourself to the limit, eat the right foods and be prepared, and joining will be fine coz ul be physically astute to it! just keep working hard as uv been doing!
