Msn definitely, although i started off with ICQ... just none of my friends use it anymore so i had to go along and switch to messenger

icq started to suck (imo at least) around 1998. uses WAAAAY too much CPU for shit you dont need or want. i like msn (not the new one- i refuse to upgrade) and deadAIM. (dead aim takes away ads and all the buddy list shit
