"In 1987 I started playing only with CD's! "
How did you mix with CD's in 1987? Was it possible to beatmatch cd's back then? Or did you just do some tricks with switching from one to the other instantly?

I have that CD Player, and although it is of no use to me, the scratching definately works very well. It's a lot of fun to play with.

CD Mixing in '87
"CD mixing in '87"
We didn't had pitch control or other possibilities to mix the tracks,
so it was not easy to do the "perfect mix" in those days. The way
we mixed was not so important in those days. It was the type of
music wich was very important. In 1990 we had finally the 1st
CD player with pitch control by Technics, but no pitch bend!
It was great fun experimenting with new stuff, like it still is now!
I know about the "scratching CD player" but my (old) Pioneer 500
doesn't has that feature!
Greetings,
Steven
