Actually almost none of the tracks in this thread are ambient. Chill-out yes, but not ambient.
'Real' ambient comes from the ingenious Future Sound Of London (try the cd's Lifeforms and Dead Cities), and bands like The Orb, Orbital, Autechre, Aphex Twin etc.
The bands and artists in this thread are the regulars that saturates this forum, and will never be ambient. Just because its an Ambient Remix does not make it ambient either.

check out infected mushroom - converting vegetarians.
it is a double cd with good goa/psy trance, with some nice deeper ambient songs as well. a very interesting touch.
