but their best remix to date for me is Way out West Mindcircus pure brillance

If anyone has seen them live you will know that they are innovative and evolving all the time and can rock the club

They prob did the britney remix for the money and so what if they did as long as they continue to produce classic tracks such as Motorcycle as the rush comes and beautiful things.

We are lucky to have two such talented and innovative producers creating tracks for us to enjoy, but I don't think they are on a downward spiral but they might need to aviod saturating the market.

absolutely right -- they're allowed to throw a bone to a pop artist every now and then and not every remix is going to be a mindcircus (or a beautiful things, for that matter), but as long they maintain their consistency and avoid overexposure they're aces with me.

i think mako said it best before. "music is subjective. just because you dont like it doesnt mean its not good." or something along those lines.

I think its a possibility that they did the Britney remix as a challenge, to convert a commercial pop music into a sweet sounding dance song, or from some people's perspectives a bad song into a good song.

many of their remixs do sound quite similar. you can normally spot their mixs by the beat used and the long drawn out tracks.
i think they do need to be a little bit more innovative in the future. but the stuff they are putting out now is still quite quality.
i wouldn't consider any of their remixs my fav stuff.
but some of my fav. songs are "use only the drugs/music" and "wave 3" these songs are insane.

and people so what if they are going "commercial" or getting popular. good for them. i'd like lots of money in my pocket.
whats annoying is when people get all annoyed when some great artist gets big, but those people who whine about it are the ones going "OMG OMG OMG have you heard this song by this artist, OMG this new artists pownz l33t blah blah blah more stupid spelling of words.

You actually thing G&D sound has been going bad? lol Then I would recomend you to just go and listen to Hiphop R&B or some Hardcore for all I care... G&D Sound has been getting Better and Better.. And I am very happy for them actually because not many Electronic music producers Can get their names out into the pop world to Promote electronic music... For some point I stop to think I dont want Electonic music to go Mainstream... But with Beautiful Productions by Sander k, Junkie Xl, Infusion, G&D, Markus Schulz, Trifactor etc.. When a Pop music is remixed it at least gives those Closeminded pop listeners another Chance to look at the Electronic music... And where is this Fuckin Hate coming from anyways? Is it fuckin Jelousy? Or is it just people with nothing to do just wanna have an Opinion of some kind... Stop that shit.. ELECTRONIC MUSIC IS ALL ABOUT LOVE.. And to me ITS ALL ABOUT MUSIC... If I see you doing a Production like G&D I would really respect you for your music.. But for making a stupid commment lik you did here i cant respect you... but i dont hate you either :P JUST LOVE THE MUSIC MAN... You dont like it? Dont listen to it.. Sad thing is after you people talk shit you still go and listen to EVERY SINGLE G&D Production... I LOVE G&D and I KNOW HOW TALLENTED THESE GUYS ARE... And I DONT CARE WHO THEY REMIX... DOESNT MATTER AT ALL..

AS I SAY " LOVE LIFE, LIVE MUSIC "

I fully and utterly concur with you. Its about the music, enjoy people. Not every G&D production is going to be liked by everyone, but I guarantee you the positives outweigh the negatives. Admit it how many of you in here are listening to a G&D production right now

I love these two remixes and would happily put them up against any other G&D remix.

No way downward spiral - stop winging and start supporting.

my love for G&D started at their remix of Summer Calling
and it ended right there too

not saying they are bad producers, they definately have a large amount of talent, just not my cup of tea
