Agreed. In fact, you're pretty damned stupid if you buy those MDR-V700DJ's even for grooving to those trance/techno tracks (open-air Grado headphones are way better than those Sonys for listening/grooving to trance). They're okay if you use them for spinning house mixes (i.e. cueing up different tracks and then try to get as close of a match in the beats as humanly possible).
