i've never gotten into one of these PvD is god/ or he sucks threads before but i have to agree that this PvD baseline, clapping, high hat, sound that is in every single PvD remix or rework is getting annoying. i am all about PvD, he was the first dj/ producer that i really liked, and i still like him but c'mon, this is getting old. i feel like his sets now are basically his signature bassline with some other stuff layered over the top of it. i'm not a pvd hater, i just want to see him expand a tad..... maybe come up with a PvD #2 bassline. is that too much to ask

Cause back before '99, U didn' give a damn about PvD, but now that he's pressin' platinum LP's, all of a sudden ur' into
his killer beat's! Ain't nothin' U can do to make it stop cause trance makes the world go round, so cut the act...
sometimes when they change aliases they also change their sound abit
i like that
paul van dyk is famous for his punchy percussion

I Love pvd and his music, but once he showed me this I went through all my records of pvd, and found the same clap noise. This is very amusing. I suggest going through the tracks yourself. Its like any good track for him, has to have the clap. Clap...Clap...Clap...hehe

every pvd track? that clapping hihat sound i can only recall being in a few remixes and tracks like NBY and his remix of "Guide Me God". some other songs have a that drum buildup but thats present in soo many other trance tracks and its not just predominately pvd who uses them. you all overexaggerate too much and give the pvd haters fuel to bitch and moan.
