I enjoy the sets PvD Spins over in Germany more because he usually plays a wider variety of music, especially the local berlin productions that he NEVER spins in America. If he's spinning six hours tho, he has to be dropping some new stuff. I mean, what else is he gonna do, play the reflections tracks like 6 times?

That could very well be the case

The best thing of Vandit Nights is when (what's left of) the audience (the real die-hards who stay until 09:00am) gets to pick the final track

Chances are he will be playing the same songs he played at Cream Amnesia, Ibiza, so No he will not be playing any "new" tracks. I categorize new as in songs I have only heard once or twice - And I have heard just about all the songs he is playing, except maybe four or five songs, most notably Lustral - Everytime (Nalin & Kane Remix).

dont count on hearing classics from the amnesia set... those were played in freggin IBIZA! not comparable to anything else. its just a completely different context from everywhere else. ibiza is the past present and future in dance music. it has its own seperate history in a way. pvd playing classics like saltwater just doesnt happen elsewhere.

I just do it exactly the way I enjoy listening to it. This is most of the time it is with banging beats. It is even with a soft thing, a soft melodic idea, or whatever. I still like to have it rocking. Keep in mind what this music is made for, first of all. Its not made to be easy listening on the radio. Its not made to be easy listening in television. Its actually kick ass in the club. This is what music is. This is the purpose of this art form...to listen to it and let the frequencies actually blow you away. --Paul Van Dyk
