I've only been using it a few months. It took ages to get anything working though... I had no real knowledge of how to work the synths or anything so it was a long and arduous process to even get noises coming out of my stupid laptop speakers! I still have a hell of a lot to learn though, but I'm enjoying the learning experience so it's all good...

sorry it took me forever to reply, but i finally listened to it on a normal sound system

this track is really good for a first production! im not font on the melody tho, but that's just a matter of taste.
the overall sound is very good, especially for a first track.
as bren said the kick is a bit too loud and it gets a little repetive.
other then that great work! looking forward to hear more from you!

keep it up!

john

first track ever? wonderful compared to my hideous first productions. a more powerful bass would infinitely help this track out. Very unique climax (which is good ) Great lead notes, and those pads are nice. Lead needs more power. That is really all that is lacking here: power. The track is good, but doesnt have a whole lot of energy. Part of that comes from some of the lame samples, but that is just part of being a n00b producer . You show lots of potential. Just keep it up, and you will go far.

hey, this is very good for a first track!
i like the intro you've actually bothered putting in some interesting sounds here and there
you definately have a feel for producing, the synths could be better ofcourse, but you'll get there. melody is not really my coup of tea.
at 3:38 though, it's all sounding very nice with the bass changes and that 2nd melody

keep it up!

Can hardly believe this is a first production; bloody amazing considering.

My biggest suggestions would be to have several more percussive layers spanning the stereo field some more, and making your synths a little more "wet" sounding if that makes any sense.

Huge potential with ya here, keep up the good work =)

Thanks for the kind comments guys! Mucho appreciated... There been a slight update if anyone cares.

Already started work on my second track. Will probably take me quite a while though - expect to hear something in the next couple of months...
