hehe, that's WOman:P anyway...dont get me wrong...i totally don't do it like u think...like every weekend to get fucked up. my senior year of high school (99-00) was bad. that's when i got into it and did it too much. then i just stopped hanging out with all those "friends" cuz all they did was get fucked up and everything's about money, etc. anyway...i decided to take a long break and didn't roll for months. then when i finally did again..i didn't enjoy it and it's been like that ever since. that time i got messed up on all that shit (the rolls and acid and stuff) was like 2 months ago and that was my first time doing anything (besides weed) in like maybe 2 or 3 months. my bf did "e" for the first time with me recently so of course he's all about doing it more, but i'm not. we are very responsible about drugs. just like once every 2 or 3 months we'll roll. and pretty much whenever i can get some xanax...which isn't very often, i'll grab some. i just like to take xanax to relax cuz i'm an anxious person. i probably need a prescription for it! anyway...i have read a bunch of stuff about "e" on websites and other drugs...i am very well informed..i just wanted some input from you people since a lot of you seem to do "e". i just wanted to know if anyone knows what i mean and if they would share stories as well. i am most likely going to cut out rolling, and remind me never to trip again! haha did i mention coming down that night was literally HELL!? seriously..that is my definition of hell...coming off of 2 rolls and a hit of acid. lol bleh! never again! |
HOLY SNIKES! You're a walking pharmaceutical drugstore!
Ok. Now, what I say is only speculative. There combination of factors that's making you anti-social while you are rolling.
xanax or Vikadin. (sp?) These two drugs may be interfering with E's effects on your serotonin systems. When you have different combinations of drugs mixed in your brain chemistry, it will caused an undesired reaction. Meaning, the combinations are not synergetic. The reaction is what I call crossfiring. It's like taking a huge amount of serotonin into your body (E), your brain won't accept or not much, it has to go somewhere. So it is transfer to the dopamine system. Too much dopamine causes this sketchiness, acute irritability, etc al.. That's my take.
Previous mood and anxiety disorder. When you have this type of history, the occurrences will increase with err long unprescribed drug use. It looks like you are a light user so you starting to get a glimpse of impending disaster. I hope you heed the warning signs or else it's going to be REAL Hell next time for you.
My Suggestions:
1. Stop taking E for two months minimum
2. Don't even take acid at all (this is a very hard drug)
3. Look for another alternative to Xanax, Valium?, and pain killers
I am sure there must other options besides Xanax
4. Take dietary supplements to build your serotonin up
the other unorthodox option is graphotherapy. To give you an honest example of why your writing reflects your personality, do this:
When you are xinging and not sketched out, write on unlined paper - a whole page if possible. Compare the paper to your normal writing. Notice the discrete difference from the comparison.
NOTE: When you feel you are ready to try it, give it a go.
This is a way for you to SEE for yourself, not just from my words, the changes in your writing when xinging. The next step is actual graphotherapy: making certain direct changes to your writing that changes your thought patterns. Therefore, change or create new neuro pathways in your brain.
If you are interested, I'll have to ask some people who are certified experts in this field.
It's funny, I have heard stories from cocaine junkies recovering from extreme life-threatening addiction by just taking E.

wow...where do i begin...u seem to really know ur shit. hehe i don't know about the writing thing when i'm xinging??? what is that? on "e" i'll assume. i call it "rolling". anyway, i definately will not be able to sit and write my feelings while i'm rolling...i have a hard time opening up like that...and besides, i always know what i'm feeling and why...i am very in tune with my thoughts and emotions...i just keep them all up in my file manager (heh, *brain*) and usually don't express them to many people....that's just me but i see all of you guys' points of view. u are all right...i have just done my share of "e" and it's time for a LOOOONG break. i will probably knock all that shit out for a while. besides....i don't want anyone to get me wrong...music is, and always will be, THE drug for me the "e" just opened me up more emotionally at first...it didn't open me up to dancing and trance/breaks, etc. i was already all about that before the drugs

Re: is it ME or the "E"?

ok well i was just wondering if anyone is going through the same thing that i am when it comes to "e"...i just don't enjoy it any more. i never blow up. it's always just a lingering kinda slugish feeling. i used to have so much energy on the drug and i was so outgoing...now when i roll, i get annoyed when ppl are like all mushy with me...i just wanna come down already. i think maybe i'm just low on "happy juice" lately and under a lot of stress. could that be it? i mean, i'm not depressed every day at all or anything, but i sure do feel like it when i roll. i mean everyone can be depressed, and i'll be the first to admit that i've been on zoloft before because i was in a terrible relationship when i was only 16. anyway, my point is, that i DO have a small history of depression and i've heard that it really isn't a good drug to take if you've been depressed before.
also, i don't think it's the drugs cuz it's been the same shitty feeling like the last 4 times i've rolled and the people i rolled with said they felt great. the last time i got fucked up (you'll get a kick outta this) i took 2 rolls (which were weak for me)...so i decided to take a ritalin (swallowed it whole, not snorted) to speed it up a bit, but then the whole "roll" just died and i was just wired. THEN i ate a green gell tab (acid) and i was like totally functioning. i mean of course i was confused and seeing trails n shit..but my bf was with me and he had taken 2 rolls and 1 acid like me and he was fucking GONE! haha but i could totally still read the computer screen (YES, i was on TA chatroom since it was my first time tripping and didn't want to do it somewhere public...we decided to stay home and trip/roll) and do other things and still think rationally. anyway, when i told some of my friends they were like, "holy fucking shit..that's A LOT of drugs dude" lol maybe i need to take like 3 rolls at once next time??? if there is a next time. i dunno, maybe i'm just burnt out on "e"...it's not what it used to be i think. people are getting stupid with it these days and u never know what you're getting any more.
one more thing. i used to LOVE uppers....like i LOVED coke when i did it the few times and i loved "e" at first...but now i'm starting to really just like that "loaded" feeling. i like xanax now and weed and pain killers like vikadin (NO i do not take this shit regularly..only weed regularly) is this bad? is this some kind of cycle or something? like i'm gonna be an alcoholic or something next? ok i've written a novel...can't wait to hear some of you guys' input
