Its so convenient when you can just say things like "drugs are bad" when there are so many kinds with different health risks. But I especially hate being called druggie in that negetive way since I know a great deal about what I'm putting into my body and the related risks involved. I'm smart and I resent people thinking I'm somehow lesser than them since I partake in something that the ever wise, never wrong (prohabition) government decided is best for us. If the logic used to ban marijuana was consistant today, we would have banned alcohol and cigaretes.
Want an interesting tid-bit, did you know the 2 largest contributors in the USA for anti-drug commercials, seminars, foundations, etc, is none other than 'Big tobacco' and Alcohol companies I'm sure they are just giving generously for our health benefit. Of course they aren't worried about the very possible legalization of marijuana hurting their legal drug
Responsible use of certain illegal drugs is not any worse than drinking alcohol, some are even safer. So please keep that in mind when you group anything illegal under one convenient description like illegal drugs.
I wouldn't compare a bottle of vodka to a bottle of wine, why would you compare heroin to marijuana for example
I'm speaking in general here martin, not directing this all at you, but it seems to often people catagorize it all under the same thing which is very wrong. |
