Oh..the guy has no clue.
I just hope he moves deeper into the sound before he buys more of that stuff. It's a waste.

I don't think they should be allowed to call that CD 'trance'

The song 9:00 P.M.(Till I Come) has a very unique sound to it. The sliding of different notes gives it a "peaceful" sound yet keeps you dancing. I would say this artist is not the best, but I wouldn't mind listening to it often. The reason is most of the songs have the same kind of melody in them. 4 stars.

All I have to say is OMG I Die this track ownz me!!

Ok here we go...

There is a difference between DANCE and TRANCE. Yes it is a problem that Robbins Entertaiment (the label behind the Trance Party series and artists like Lasgo and Ian Van Dahl) to title a compilation of Dance tracks "Trance Party"...yes this is wrong because it gives people the wrong impression about TRUE trance. Yes DANCE has it's trance elements so perhaps the genre should be titled DANCE TRANCE. But IMO Dance is good enough.

Now secondly...you guys all label these Dance songs as crap, saying they suck, and so forth. Well Tranceaddict is the same place wheer I saw a huge topic about how people who dis electronica by saying it sucks is just musically ignorant and non-understanding of what the music is all about, therefore labeling it as "sucky" and "crap"

You same people are now doing the SAME thing that those non-electronica fans do...your attacking music because it's something you don't musically enjoy...

The Trance Party series (1 thru 3) is by far the BEST compilation series of the top DANCE trance tracks...However #3 is my least favorite...I will admit that they mis label the series thus confusing people of what is trance and what is dance trance...but oh well, there's nothing we can do about it.

So what if I am a fan of the Trance Pary series, I happen to enjoy the commercial sound of Dance...however I am also a gigantic fan of Digweed, Sasha, Oakenfold, Tiesto, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Deep Dish, Danny Howells...ect etc etc.

I agree with you all about the fact that mis-labling series such as Trance Party DOES effect peoples view points of what "trance" is but lets face it...dance trance is the most successful form of electronica and MOST people who listen to dance trance also listen to REAL trance and other sub-genres of electronica. Dance trance is easier for non-electronica fans to get into the electronic scene because it has similiarites with main stream Pop music. Then once they appreciate the sounds of Dance Trance they tend to move into deeper and less superficial forms of electronica, the kinda we all love and resepect.

It's REALLY sad to see that you guys are worried and upset about how non-electronica listeners view us because they associate commericalized dance trance to the trance we appreciate. It's ALL under the same fucking genre "ELECTRONICA," Sp instead of attacking and labeling other genres "sucky" (since you find it ignorant of other people to do so to our genre of music) then just chill out and inform people the difference of each electronic sub-genre without being so damn negative.

Sorry I just had to rant.

wrong. way wrong.

yes, no offense, you might like garbage and i respect your taste, but it won't stop me from saying that it's garbage and that i hate it (and it won't stop the garbage from being garbage)

I don't see how I am wrong...because there is more money spent on dance trance compilations and albums than of other electronica genres. There are international figures to prove this...and if it is to your liking I will do my best to hunt those figures down.

And also...so r u saying that Digweed, Sasha, Oakenfold, Nick Warren...etc are Garbage as well? Since you did say I like garbage...and u might recall me saying:

But then again, I am not dumb, I do realize that you were referring to me liking dance, and not the other well resepcted DJ's I listed as well.

And I wasn't and AM NOT trying to change your opinions, I am simply pointing out that the same people who hate it when other people say that "electronica" in general is crap start attacking music in the same way that the non-electronica listeners dis our style of music.

Your just musically ignorant if your going to go around saying other people music is garbage just because you don't appreciate it. What if someone came up to you and said that your favorite artist is garbage? You would either ignore them or go on a rant as well.

Like I said, I like Dance and I like other forms of Electronica. In fact I have 10 times more bought albums & MP3's of respected trance, prog, house, etc than I do of "dance" music.

yeah... then again, there are 10x more of these "dance" compilations than there are REAL electronica albums.

aka

most of these tracks are made for fame and / or money and big corporations or whoever keep milking and milking and milking them.

there's no such genre as "dance". it's either euro-trance, euro-house, or something like that, but "dance" as a genre does not exist - that's largely a category that you can put the music under, same as "romantic" or "depressing". it's not a real classification. i can dance to beethoven.

i don't hate other genres, but i do depict cheese electronica because it's commercial, soulless, and it's made for money. that's my view of it. sure, someone might enjoy it, but to me it's the same as enjoying bondage or child porn - sure, someone enjoys it, but to me it's totally wrong and unacceptable.

and trust me, most of the people who like digweed and oakey can't stand lasgo and the such.
