Now that the RIAA has cracked down on public filesharing, the only people who have access to all the newest and best stuff are DJs who are getting promos, or people with enough money to just go out and buy every new release that comes out. The fact is that many people don't have the money to do this, or don't have access to record outlets that supply this stuff. In other words, it is quite possible that there are far fewer people out there who have access to quality music than there were a few years ago.

I'm not saying that downloading is good. I'm just offering a possible reason for the recent proliferation of riduculous topics.

So this board has also caught it. The "it was all better before everything
got so damn popular!"-feeling.

It might be true or it might just be the fact that TA isnt all that
small and "secret" as it used to be. Since i registered i do remember
all the flaming that went on, all the pointless threads in which people
would throw bullshit at each other like snowballs, thats nothing new for this board.

Also its a pity that people wont try to make something out of it
instead of just whine about it.

Im a TA-member for a short time, but I can completely understand ya people.

Two years ago, bulletin boards were just for underground people who could handle a bit with a computer or who were very interesting in a subject.

Nowadays, more and more people join boards. The consequence is a lot quantity in threads, but def not quality.

TA was one the boards that I joined since a few months because my previous board (not trance) was going like the way TA is going now.
