It's lame that people require lyrics, since most of the time those lyrics are poorly-sung pathetic tripe that would only serve to make me vomit if I bothered to listen carefully enough.
And for the love of god, I wish people would stop calling techno a "technological invention". Not only has it been around since the '70s, but it's a direct evolution of ancient African tribal rhythms or Latin songs. This music's been around since the dawn of time.
Any idiot can pick up a guitar and learn to play the same 4 chords over and over again and belt out lyrics. The talent in DJing, at least in techno DJing, is the improvisation, making the music actually do something and have a feel to it.
Techno is like Morse Code; you either get it or you don't.

my friend who is into rock and played guitar was so amazed at the complexity and layering of some progressive and techno tracks i played in my car.
he was like, this is far more complex than playing guitar, its also so hard to follow every single beat and sounds.

those are techno djs, but everyone spinning it differently... you'll see that genre is so diversified!
as for the music the first post is describing, i could bet its ambiant or some form of electronica music like kraftwerk, aphex twin, dj spooky (most likely), ...
Technasia is a two-man band doing live performances but holy SHIT are they insanely good! One of the most amazing techno experiences I had

Forget Liebing. In terms of the hard sound he plays Adam Beyer wipes the floor with him and his neverending smile. But hes still damn fun to party to

Actually, Adam Beyer seemed like kind of an ass when he came to play here once. Not that he isn't an amazing DJ, but Liebing's interaction was just way better.
Beyer wouldn't even let my friends get a picture OFF stage (there wasn't a mob, only 3 or 4 of us). Liebing actually waved off the bouncers to let people get on stage for pictures. So, draw whatever conclusions you may...
Liebing and Beyer are different styles of techno. I like them both, although Beyer tends to lean a little toward the electro side of things, lots of Umek tracks and such.

I think both Liebing and Beyer are awesome. But you have to see them spin together. It's amazing. 3 turntables and a mixer each, plus Liebing with the Korg Kaoss Pad.
