there is no partying, unless you aim for a huge event like Valkana, (which I highly recommend!) especially the coastal cities of Croatia, the nightlife there is extremely dissapointing

But hey, if you can settle for restaurants as your nightlife fix, you won't have a problem. I personally couldn't, but thats just me.

How long were you planning on staying in Croatia?

Surprisingly, Croatia is somewhat uninteresting nightlife-wise.. I certainly expected more. I had a blast in Dubrovnik and Curzola because I hooked up with some other backpackers (since I was travelling solo).. aside from that, pretty much all boils down to cafés and bars.
In Montenegro, on the other hand you have crazy parties on the beaches, in the caves, open-air clubs, on town squares.. I suggest that destination (brazen, I know..)
And then you have Greece, the Greek isles, Turkish isles, Cyprus.. just to cover the eastern Mediterranean
