As for the music scene in India IMO nothing will change unless the masses change and they will only change if they are exposed to good Electronic Dance Music. That will only happen if the music channels stop playin Babuji & Get Busy 20 times a day.
lol ur absolutely correct!
yes i think too indian people should know their music and give any dj a chance to play what he thinks is best!
and if what he likes is what the crowd likes then thas a plus point!
i think indian dj's get blocked in the whole
"play what the crowd likes atmosphere" so as a dj ur abilities get limited, coz no dj will sound good in the music he DOSENT want to mix!

All I'm sayin is that its not fair to judge Beck or Whosane on what they normally have to play.
I never liked Whosane cause I dont like Psy.I'd probably like 5 tracks out of every 100 tracks I hear. But I'm when I saw him play at that party he was awesome........I'm talkin great mixing with a few decent tricks thrown in.
To rate a Dj as bad you should hear him atleast 2-3 times but to rate him as a good Dj you just gotta hear him once.......cause a great set is never a fluke.
Neeways to each his own.
As for Nikhil & Pearl I dont wanna comment cause I still haven't heard them...although what I've heard from friends is that the music they play is fantastic-but Nikhil can just bout hold a mix together and pearl dosen't mix at all.
Been to Rock Bottom twice but never heard either.
Caught Lee Coffee once and saw Fubar there also-got my snap taken with him also which was pretty cool.

A setlist would be great..and I'm hoping to make my way to India to check out some of these dj's, and perhaps, make an impact on the scene myself....if anyone has any contacts, PM me.
