I love breaks but I also love trance , drumm and bass and hardcore. I have been working on a new mix that I will have ready by next week which basically starts as trance and progresses through all of the above genres but the catch is that I use trance sounding breaks and trancy hardcore and trancy drum&bass. I have had good response from people who have heard the mix. But I will agree that too much of a certain style can get boring that is why I like to mix it up. Trancy breaks have been around for ages like slade said with groups like hybrid making some amazing stuff.
