I'm sick and tired of people (who live in warm climates) crying and bitching about how cold it is and it's maybe 60F.

yeah, but on the flipside you guys aren't allowed to complain about extreme heat of summer, either After all Toronto rarely makes it above 75 degrees Fahrenheit (24 degrees Celsius), whereas Texas & Arizona summers are just brutal, quite frequently in the range of 102 Fahrenheit (39 Celsius).
I've spent some winters in Vancouver and other colder climates and personally, I'd rather have excruciatingly cold weather than excruciatingly hot.
After all you can always add more clothes and bundle up but when you're hot and wearing next to nothing and have the AC blasting and are STILL hot, well, there's nothing else to be done. And the heat just messes with your mind. People complain of cabin fever when they're stuck inside during long winter months...well, here the same is definitely true during summer months...you just can't go out for more than a few minutes, it's too blazing hot. Lot of people here have died because they can't afford AC. Heat's just as serious and cold weather, and feels worse, at least for my bod

Yeah it doesn't get too too hot although the average in Toronto for July and August is more like 27. In fairness though the heat down where you are is always a dry heat... it's the humidity that makes it really uncomfortable.
