It should take well more than an hour to peak. Ive heard nicotine ruins/decreases its effects (but i dunno if thats true) so dont smoke when u take it.

i doubt it
There can be loads of side effects tho. But ur only likely to get any if ur very young/old (afaik anyway). www.drugs.com/diazepam has more info on this

if anything nicotine would only have an effect on the valium for at most 20 mins, not even. nicotine's effects are a lot shorter. just dont go smoking a pack. but i think a nice cigarette wouldnt hurt.

U never know. When drugs interact it can change the duration of their effects.

hmmmm. well based on my expierence, never had a problem. i have a never-ending presciption and i do smoke a few cigarettes a day and have never had a problem with it lessening the effects. i almost always smoke one cigarette while on benzies, just b/c i feel so damn relaxed that i smoke one. never noticed a difference, from the times that i have taken themin mid day. i never smoke in the daytime, it is a weird nite time habit...
anyways, both benzies and nicotine are such mild drugs.
