What i see that most of us expected some kind of "OMG it is fantastic" video, and what we got is an average video.
I think all the "why" question is answered in this tread : the budget.
The clip has some good things, so we can't say it is a bad one. First of all it is one of the best song of 2003, lots of ppl like it, and there is finally a video from our favourite song 
We have seen lots of worse videos.
But there are more bad things. There is runing girl in the clip. Have you noticed that in the most of the trance/dancwe clip there is someone runing ? Think about an Pvd clips, Darude, etc. Although the original song is balancing between the pop and progressive, the clip makes it pop-like : the dancing, the singer is in the focus and the producers in the background, and it is a so-called radio cut (only the "sing" part were left, the instrument parts were cut). And of course we have expected some mindblowing video 
It is an interesting idea to what videoclip can we make if we have low budget. What kind of video we might like ?
Idea 1:
Lots of amateur camera stuff, with Josh and Gabriel talking about the song, scenes from livesets, jes singing, etc.
Idea 2:
More complex story. For example Jes and some man walking in the park, etc. kind of "romantic" video
Idea 3:
Let's make a clip with no connection between the lyrics and the video.
A good example is the videoclip of Delerium - Innocente (dj tiesto mix)
