I just saw Return of the King yesterday, while i didn't hate it I thought it could have been better. Not sure if the holiday stress interfered with my enjoyment or that the movie was too long. I felt detached from the characters and was a little overwhelmed by one epic battle after another. The movie crammed what would take a month to read into 3+ hours of continuous action. Acting, direction, and special effect were superb I needed an intermission or something. Anyone else feel the same way?
