ok, listen, asshat
hehe
we were just offering some constructive criticism, and if you can't take that, I doubt you will last very long in this business.
Another thing, I seem to remember a guy who started up a club in DC this past summer, we'll call him Apu. Well, Apu was from England, and he knew the scene pretty well over there, he was even friends with a lot of the big UK trance DJs. So Apu tried to apply his UK knowledge to a short-lived club here in DC called Code, do you rememeber that? I don't know what kind of big shot you think you are, but where did it get Apu? Absolutley fucking nowhere...

OK, look I’ll wave the white flag and call a truce.
To set the record straight, I’m not a banker or lawyer or whatever else you named. I’m a Dj and promoter and I’ve been doing this for 12 years now, so I know the scene.
I’m not trying to come off all high and mighty, although some of you think I am. If you want to know what kind of person I am simply go to the UKTA board and ask Ste or Jeff.
I got upset cause I didn’t want your opinion, that’s not what I was asking for. If I pose the question a different way I may be able to get the info I need.
Let’s say hypothetically speaking, once a month you could go to the best party around, a party that had a show that could rival Ibiza, just a straight up spectacle. And each month you had 2 or 3 A-list Djs controlling the vibe of the party. How far would you be willing to drive for it?
You see we have run the numbers, like one of you suggested but the unknown factor is this. Out of all the people who pack out Crasher, Godskitchen, and Passion, week in and week out very few of those people actually live in those clubs respective cities. The clubbers in the UK love to travel to the best events, sometimes up to 2hrs. This is what I don’t know about American club land. Are you willing to travel?
I'm not trying to start drama here, we just need to know if it would be worth our time and effort to follow thru what we have already started. If clubbers won't travel then were screwed! Bottom line

2 hours doesn't seem like a long drive... from ny it'd be what, 3, 3 and a half hours? i'm not sure. i haven't done the travelling thing to see my favorite dj yet so i'm probably the wrong person to respond to this question
