Whoop! Im flying from Miami to Calgary on the 31st, and either staying in Banff or the Hostel in Calgary for a while. Id love to see G&D play, never seen them before. Can u buy tickets on the door? Who wants to meet up in a bar/Pub before hand for chat's and drinks, or maybe find someone with some decks and have a TA gathering? Anyways it would be cool to have a TA meeting so at least i can find where the fuck the warehouse is Lets get something on!....Also does anyone know if the hostel in Calgary is good and cheap? Whats fun to do in C? Cheers guys

when you say paul, are you talking about paul the bartender there? (warehouse) cuz i worked all summer with him, and he gets me just fucked everytime i go to the warehouse, and never even lets me tip him, it's weird. what im saying about the warehouse is, i can have fun there, no prob esp. with my friends, i just like going to a party that has a big vibe, and i never feel that there, so i get bored quick and leave, and ya, the whiskey has no vibe either, actually if you ask me, the last dope party i've been to in calgary was sasha @ skybar. i also just remembered i need to buy tix for this.

tons of buses from banff to calgary just check the hotels they usually have times and what not

as for getting in at the door, you should be able to, will probably cost you a lot more though

I'm guessing it will be around $20 or so at the door...

anyways looking tight, there essential mix has some really chillin trance songs

just got back from G&D(and Rank 1, Infected Mushroom, Anne Savage) and the guys are so cool and down to earth.
sitting in the pub having our TA premeet, these 2 unrecognized guys walk up and ask 'are you guys TA' yea we reply only to have them say 'hi im Josh Gabriel and this is Dave Dresden' (my jaw nearly dropped) sit down have a meal, a drink, answer questions, take requests, and just generally shoot the shit for just under 2 hours.


they played pretty much EXACTLY what I expected from them. Combine the EM w/ ASOT w/ a few newer tracks and thats the tracklist. Solid mixing, and some beyond this world transitions (ATRC->Murder was the bass->accapella of *shit I forgot it!!!*->Murder was the bass)
it was great!!!

so not to name drop, but we chatted for 3-4 minutes and they are excited to come to Calgary. New cities intrigue them. if flights allow for it, a TA meet is entirely possible, just make sure some people come out for it!!!
