I saw him with diggers, have missed him the last 2 times that he has come to Toronto due to other circumstances. When I find a full time job, ima go back to clubbing and seeing big name deejays.

I'd have to agree with Dmatrox here....even tho Bunkka wasn't what I expected it to be. It was still better than a lot of stuff I've been hearing lately...its fresh, oakey has taken a risk, and to be quite honest with you, I think it worked for him, I predict he will start to become more trance involved within the next 12-15 months..Seeing what Tiesto did with Southern Sun might show Oakey that he can still go any route he wishes and fall back to previous styles such as perfecto presents another world, or one of his global underground albums, and prove to some people that he has not "fallin off", but just taking some time to experiment and maybe rejuvinate himself for a mind blowing dance record (as he refers his trance records to). I also see that in a lot of interviews he is still quite aware of his roots, (dance music, rock, hip hop, etc), and he will be damned if he looses touch from them..

torontotrance, totally man, Xpander is absolute brilliance. I heard about the toronto cancellation...I also hear that he will be booking a date back their some time within the next few months, so you should get another chance to attend his show soon.

He played Oct 2002 @ guv (caught the stomach flu).....sold my ticket to a friend and saw diggers a month later (which I caught the stomach flu again).

He played some club in May 2003 in toronto (missed that to an exam at school)

He played the guv in Sept 2003 (skint then)

so he will come back again and I will see him again and hopefully he plays xpander then.

Heh, Sasha playing Xpander...man, wishful thinking imo. He hasn't played in so long, and instead he's been caning Cowpander.

I saw him in both late October 2002 and on August 31st 2003. His October show wasn't that awesome, but his set in August of this year just blew me away.

oakie gave us TrancePort and we should hold a spot for him forever in our hearts
