Regarding organisation: I tend to take things in all aspects of my life to huge extremes. It's something I really can't control. There's almost no such thing as balance in my life. If I do something, I do it unnecessarily well or fail it badly. |
That's something you should work on. Remember that thing about the sitar and the string: if the string is too loose or too tight, you won't be able to play it. Also look to your avatar: it's perfectly balanced.

The same goes for my music. I MUST have everything in the highest quality on my PC. I encode everything in FLAC (flac.sourceforge.net) and MP3-LAME at 320 kbps (for my portable). I never care about how big the file is, just that I'm getting the best quality. Whenever I buy things, I only go for the best and never want to waste my time on the rest. |
There'snothing wrong in wanting your things neat, just don't expect other people to be the exact same way

I see what you mean by "too much of the same can be bad". In my case of "taking things to the extreme", only those who think similarly end up understanding what I mean. |
Not necessarily. I know what you mean, but I'll be damned if I encode all my files to 320 kbps. Also, I'm very busy, I wouldn't have the time to rename every file I've got. Would I do it if I had the time? Probably yes, but it's not an emergency anyway.

I also understand what you are saying about hobbies, etc. I just want to be fully accepted for who and what I am. That's it. I want to be appreciated. I appreciate other people so, why not the opposite? |
Yeah, why not? If you want to be fully accepted for who and what you are, accept people fully for who and what they are too. Sincerely, if you behaved this way, you wouldn't have written that first post asking for someone exactly like you Hope I'm not being harsh.

Now, about planning, did I give a date out? It's also very true that for my age, I tend to know WAY more than the average 18-year-old: Especially when it comes to factual information, national & international conventions, finances, scams, budgets, etc. (I'm going by what others have told me in the recent past). It turns out to be that while many people my age are online chatting, I'm online reading about international standards; upcoming electronics and how they work, specifications, etc.; how different societies treat certain issues; how cultures', countries', and languages' conventions can conflict should they be tested on international grounds. |
So you're a cult person. Props to you I can't see any problem here. By the way, chatting sometimes is good because you won't be wasting your time, you'll be just working on other fields of knowledge (social skills in this case).

Has anyone on here ever been to http://www.geocities.com/jusjih/ ? Has anyone on here ever punch up "ISO 8601" in Google, and later wonder why don't we all use this as our standard date & time format? (...) |
Easy there buddy or we're gonna go completely off-topic You need to know when to say things. If I had asked you about what an ipod is, then there's no problem to give me SOME of that info (then if I asked for more info, you could say everything). If you throw everything you know at people's faces they won't understand a word you're saying and they won't be able to follow you. It's not their fault. How can you work on this? Chatting. If you started saying half of that stuff chatting to someone, the person would either complain or ignore you (unless you are on topic). Just imagine...
Girl: The sunset is so beautiful, how can the sky be so red?
You: That's because of the frequency of the lights that come across the atmosphere and react with sparktrons of light modifying the range of the brightness in our eyes so our brain can process this information
*the girl is puzzled by now*
because the neurons receive the information with the help of hormones which are called carrotonine and tiestopholine and you can have more of these hormones if you eat eggs and chickens specially if the chickens come from Wisconsin
*girl leaves*
because in Wisconsin the atmosphere is rich in caroblodein and... where is she gone?
You could've just said "It's perfect, isn't it?"
