Time flies... It doesn't feel like 2004 to me, but it already is, and before we know it, it'll already be 2nd half of the decade (2005)...

Well, I agree with what Delay Llama said, although his points betray a bit hippieish attitude

Now ali, have you tried installing icq and searching by keywords for someone with your interests?

That's something you should work on. Remember that thing about the sitar and the string: if the string is too loose or too tight, you won't be able to play it. Also look to your avatar: it's perfectly balanced.

There'snothing wrong in wanting your things neat, just don't expect other people to be the exact same way

Not necessarily. I know what you mean, but I'll be damned if I encode all my files to 320 kbps. Also, I'm very busy, I wouldn't have the time to rename every file I've got. Would I do it if I had the time? Probably yes, but it's not an emergency anyway.

Yeah, why not? If you want to be fully accepted for who and what you are, accept people fully for who and what they are too. Sincerely, if you behaved this way, you wouldn't have written that first post asking for someone exactly like you Hope I'm not being harsh.

Now, about planning, did I give a date out? It's also very true that for my age, I tend to know WAY more than the average 18-year-old: Especially when it comes to factual information, national & international conventions, finances, scams, budgets, etc. (I'm going by what others have told me in the recent past). It turns out to be that while many people my age are online chatting, I'm online reading about international standards; upcoming electronics and how they work, specifications, etc.; how different societies treat certain issues; how cultures', countries', and languages' conventions can conflict should they be tested on international grounds.

So you're a cult person. Props to you I can't see any problem here. By the way, chatting sometimes is good because you won't be wasting your time, you'll be just working on other fields of knowledge (social skills in this case).

Easy there buddy or we're gonna go completely off-topic You need to know when to say things. If I had asked you about what an ipod is, then there's no problem to give me SOME of that info (then if I asked for more info, you could say everything). If you throw everything you know at people's faces they won't understand a word you're saying and they won't be able to follow you. It's not their fault. How can you work on this? Chatting. If you started saying half of that stuff chatting to someone, the person would either complain or ignore you (unless you are on topic). Just imagine...

Girl: The sunset is so beautiful, how can the sky be so red?
You: That's because of the frequency of the lights that come across the atmosphere and react with sparktrons of light modifying the range of the brightness in our eyes so our brain can process this information
*the girl is puzzled by now*
because the neurons receive the information with the help of hormones which are called carrotonine and tiestopholine and you can have more of these hormones if you eat eggs and chickens specially if the chickens come from Wisconsin
*girl leaves*
because in Wisconsin the atmosphere is rich in caroblodein and... where is she gone?

You could've just said "It's perfect, isn't it?"

actually, it's because sunlight gets refracted by the atmosphere and also because we on earth are moving away from the sunlight, so it gets redshifted and its wavelengths get stretched (and that's why sunrise looks blueish - it gets blueshifted), but who really cares, it's perfect, isn't it?

I use ICQ via Trillian Pro 2.0 I don't think there is an "Intersts" section there though. I know what you are talking about with the ICQ Interests thing, though... Can I do it through a web interface?

I accept everyone for who they are... I just want a 100% balanced relationship and no "head games" and lies...

Yeah, me saying loads of random stuff at any given time is a big issue with me, as I love displaying my knowledge everywhere.

About chatting, I don't chat much because what I have to say is either not on topic or it's something that the room can't or don't want to understand. If no-one wants to speak to me because of what I have to say or that "it's too boring" or "why should anyone care about that?", etc., I just leave, because I've gotten responses that show that no-one's interested and they are annoyed by the behaviour. It's a waste of time saying stuff in a chatroom that no-one wants to hear, isn't it? I have much troubles striking up and retaining a "casual conversation" so, I replace it with many sentences starting with "Did you know...[?]"...

7 years ago I acted completely different... You might mean if you were in the current timeframe 7 years ago... What's the average age on here? I'm only 18... I all of a sudden got this knowledge, passion for Electronica, interest in such obsure things practically overnight (really, it was over a period of about 4 years: the amount of time I've been on the Internet))! You wouldn't have wanted to know me over about 3 years ago...

it's called adolescence, that's when you discover the most things about yourself and the world around you

besides, a relationship at 11? lol!

those old sayings, they exist for a reason, and things like "live and learn" are really true.
