PVD player ATRC in February at ARC in NYC. I dont have time to look at previous tracklists but I would assume that this wasn the first time he played it.
Since ATRC it was first played in mid-december, February is not late at all. And, again, I am assuming he played this before I saw him at Roxy.
pvd didnt play ARC in febuary. he played arc in novemeber 2002 and ATRC wasnt played then. i think pvd started playing ATRC in july/august 2002.

I have a feeling I'm repeating myself but I'll say it yet again:
Why the fuck does DJ'ing need to be a competition? Can't you just enjoy the sets without seeing who spun what first?
Is a tune not good if it's older than 2 weeks or the DJ wasn't the first one to play it?
To even care about something like this is just sad...
I disagree, not to say that this is a focal point of a dj's talent but its nice to hear new music that isnt in the rotation. I think whether or not a dj puts on a set in which ure trying to id stuff vs. a set in which u know all the tunes. I mean i prefer to wonder the plsylist than to know it. Not to say that knowing the playlist is bad Im merely saying to not know is better. Of course great tracks dont come out everyday.

Well yeah, that's one thing but going into arguments about who played what first as if you were actually keeping track of them (see conversation above)... well... that's just... meh...

yep....paul was LATE on the andain/motorcycle tracks. but why dont you ask dave dresden if they ever sent him the promos as early as they sent to the other DJs? it was surprising that he discovered these tracks so late, i really dont think it has anything to do with what others were playing though.
as mikey mike and others have said, a large part of pvd's playlists (normally) are ahead of other DJs... and he is always playing his own exclusive tracks, its easy for him to miss something more obvious, especially if its the case that he wasnt sent the record or cd or what have you nice and early.
and because i love second sun, i must say they rock...and are original, not mediocre. can't wait to hear more from them.
