unless your big, your viynl sales are probably only going to hit between 2 and 5 thousand.. 5 being on the larger side. your song starts getting hammered by the big names? ... then it starts to go up some, especially if you dj since people who hear the song will want you to show up and play at thier clubs.and why do probably about 95% of us go to see a dj most people have never herad of? cause we heard their song on the internet.most overseas djs who dj in america are here because of the net. so that can help your revenue as well, because now your playing gigs all over the world.then theres the next biggest thing that will bring in revenue besides playing out and thats the compilations. copilations can really help bring the money in.. theres a nice little chunk of change to make off this business its just not always in the music. ..... at least not at first..

most money comes from compilation cds, get on as many of those and you might make some money. cheezy compilation probably sell more so they're not always bad
and you should get money for radio plays, etc.
and for the record, the 10% royalty example given here is not correct. you get 10% of the sale price of the distributor which is offcourse far less than $10.
and btw- anjuna asked me to do the remix. it was funny when they told me what track it was

is the likelihood of getting signed to a psy label less or more than getting signed to a trance label? on the average, do psy artists make less or more than trance artists?
or is this all impossible to know?
