anyone ever play 'Stunts' for pc? it came out before win95 was even out. the graphics were mediocre for the time. so if you think about the time the graphics are shit compared to nowadays. but it had a badd ass map editor and the engine was kickass. you could make tracks that you could fly though in total control, a smooth. not many racing games capture control very well i dont think. i was a fan of the mario kart series too.

its only about 1mb big. dl it here:

if this game were re-done it owuld be bad-ass. keep in mind, only singleplayer, and the time trials is the best feature.... but it has loops, corkscrews, nasty ass jumps, tunnels, and a replay mode which can make you laugh a shitload.

STUNTS

it owns!

that game rocked and it still does!!
haha. when I get bored in the holidays I sometimes dig up the old 1.44Meg floppy (which is still in working state) and watch some replays of me and my brother made yeeaars ago it's really funny, and it has a lot of crazy bugs aswell..

did you know that when you land the car halfway on the downslope of a bridge it will do a 90 degree turn and dive straight UP (!) in the sky and fall down again just wonderful

anyway.. the GFX suck compared to nowadays software, but that doesn't matter. it's just pure gaming value that matters.
there are so few racinggames which include a trackeditor (can you name one?).. I'd really love to see a 2004 remake of this!

hell yeah, it would sell well too. if it were on a console that had online gaming. could you imagine with a good map editor the possibilities? 8 player modes, tournaments, just like battle.net. hehe, damn blizzard and their impecable game making. shit, blizzard needs to remake it.

1. Gran Turismo 3
This is the game why I bought PS2... I might consider buying it again once GT4 is being released (sold my PS2 ca four months ago)
2. V-Rally (PS1)
Probably my favourite racing game when it comes to two-player mode.
3. Wipeout 1-3 (PS1)
Wipeout was the reason why I bought PS1.
