I do agree with you, but usually those types of posts declaring they have discovered prog/breaks/techno etc.. are followed up with "can you recommend some tracks". I think that is very legitimate, but if the posts are just people saying I switched to prog, yay me, then yes they should stfu .

Well, I didn't. Being a tranceaddict I started listening to prog but suddenly I got back into trance where I belong. As a non-trance genre to listen to prog is much less interesting then electro, which I love.
