still, you are talking flights for this big dj's, their demands as well, so it gets expensive very, very quickly. I've always viewed toronto as town where you bring in 1-2 big names not the huge choice and most deejays that are for these nights are uk residents and their travel is not expensive because they are held in the uk. I bet it will happen eventually even as ari said, the toronto scene is controlled by a few. I see a UK club doing something big as a one off event at some time. GC died, GK is busy expanding elsewhere, so who knows I've heard rumors of a breaks all start lineup but that's always rumored . I say if you like GK too much, move back to the UK, every scene is unique. I've always viewed Toronto as a bandwagon jumper city (I've lived here all of my almost 23 yrs), we like all forms of music. People go see Anne Savage and others if they come or they go see prog, trance or house deejays. I think all that Toronto cares about is big names.
