I think L-Vee's attitude towards file sharing is a bit extreme at times but it's hard to criticize him for it. Besides, TA producers get equally hot under the collar when ripping groups get a hold of their prereleased material.

^^ what he said! ^^

they criticize lolo and so but when you see the TA producer's traks on the Review forums you seem the all bitching and so. I don't understand, really.

you have indeed a good point.

Just compare his new stuff to his old stuff.

Cape Town - Cinema is a spitting image of Pitstop, right down to the FX.
Likewise, Phoenix Tears is pretty damn near identical to Touch The Sky, Talk To The Stars. Can't give you any more examples since I haven't even bothered with any of his recent stuff after those.

L-Vee is a damn drama queen. When Lightning/Bonzai went under he threatened to quit so people would send him messages saying "don't go we love you blah blah" so that he could make a triumphant return as the saviour of trance.
He's also constantly taking digs at the very people who know and support him. How popular do you think he would be if it wasn't for the p2p? I would only know him as the ugly man who does boring music.

Don't talk when you have no clue.
The artists on TA are having their first records released and therefore really NEED the success so they can get some name for themselves. Also, most of these "releases" aren't even real but have been faked as "cd rips" when in fact they have been converted from the master wave file and publicly shared by the artist himsself.

Plus we don't threaten to quit because of it or give idiotic track titles to have "revenge".

I noticed that. He basically rearranged the composition, fluffed it a bit, and deemed them new productions.

I'd just like to add that I do not consider them bad tunes as such but I was very disappointed to hear how similar they were to the older tracks...

it's kinda harsh to say l-vee is just 'rehashing his old sounds' and 'that he should have quit'.

listen to Fire & Ice - Para Siempre and Antidote - Sciabada (well, Sciabada seems not to be released yet, go mp3 scene go ). it's not like they're the most innovative tracks ever, but they're damn inspiring.

i believe so too, nice strategy..

L-Vee has done nothing lately but rehashed his old sounds.

He should had quit when he threatened to do so.

i agree with u (which is rare)...but the reason that TA artists get so pissed over their stuff gettin leaked, is because they are tryin to go out and get signed.. execs dont wanna see the mp3 file floatin around the internet before the damn thing is released...bad buisness..

I'll judge it myself when I hear it, thank you very much. It just so happens that I might actually like different stuff than you.

Fair enough, similarities noted. That's hardly a unique phenomenon in music; but then, who said a producer has to reinvent themselves every time they put out a record? I don't think you could name many trance producers who do a better job than L-Vee in terms of both prolificness and diversity... but feel free to prove me wrong!
