I have had 1 black and 1 silver for half a year now and by FAr the black is MUCH sexier... maybe if the base of the silver deck was silver too instead of black, and if the platter was silver too...

Ahh looks like the 1210 has it

The reason I posted this poll was because I'd just ordered the 1210 (black) and it was a very hard decision, so I wanted to see what everyone else's preference was.

Today I got my 1st SL1210-MK5, and here she is... so damn sexy and I love her in black.

althoug i don't support vinyl i have to say that the black one looks good as hell. it's way more stylish IMO. never liked the silver one, IMO it doesn't look good at all, the silver doesn't really fit there kind of!

I like the black ones too...don't get me wrong.

They're both more or less the same structurally anyway. It wouldn't make a single difference.

Put some damn cartridges on those decks! They look naked...

I actually have black, but I sold my silver decks a while back. I have metalic blue deck plates on mine anyways so doesn't really matter what I have but I must say my heart is with black. The silver has a special place in my heart but the black ones talk to me like they were a nasty mistress full of mystery... Yup I need to get out more often.
